China’s Musical Instrument Industry Takes Action, Resonating with the Unwavering Melody of Victory in the Fight Against the Epidemic (Part Four): Overcoming Difficulties Together, Confronting the Epidemic with Love
Release Date:
2020-02-14
In 2020, the COVID‑19 pandemic raged across China, instantly uniting the Chinese people in a shared spirit of patriotism and resilience as they confronted this formidable challenge. When the nation faced adversity, support poured in from all corners; the countless heroic stories emerging on the front lines of the epidemic moved the entire country to tears. In active response to the guiding principles and directives of the CPC Central Committee and the Party Leadership Group of the China National Light Industry Council, the China Musical Instrument Association called on its member organizations to strictly comply with local government requirements, spare no effort in epidemic prevention and control, and courageously assume their social responsibilities as industry players and enterprises. Through concrete actions, they rallied to aid Wuhan, with the entire sector joining forces to combat the pandemic with compassion and overcome these difficult times together.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, non‑public enterprises in Hengshui City, Hebei Province, have enthusiastically donated money and supplies, contributing to the fight against the pandemic through concrete actions. On February 2, Qianmotou Town received a donation of RMB 50,000 from Hebei Huasheng Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and RMB 10,000 from Zhang Ligen. Fan Longhai, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, along with the principal officials of Qianmotou Town, attended the donation ceremony. The initiative calls on all sectors of the city to emulate their selfless dedication, mobilize fully to combat the epidemic, and resolutely secure victory in this battle against the virus.
In 2020, the sudden outbreak of the pandemic united the sons and daughters of China, as people across hundreds of cities stood together in solidarity. That year will surely go down as an extraordinary chapter in the history of the Chinese nation. As the novelist Mo Yan put it: “The Year of Gengzi was fraught with upheaval, and the Rat Year began with a shock. Though there were no swords or shadows, there was nonetheless a bond of life and death. With one heart, we drove away the plague; with one mind, we built our fortress. Side by side, shoulder to shoulder, we believe that when the entire nation unites in purpose and strength, and when our industry peers pool their wisdom and efforts, we will overcome this epidemic through love and compassion, ushering in a spring of healthy, orderly development for our sector.”
